Hi, I’m Rachael! I’m a Le Cordon Bleu–trained chef and culinary instructor with over 20 years of experience sharing my love of food. My cooking journey has taken me from kitchens in the Midwest and America’s Test Kitchen in Boston to teaching in Seattle, Chile, Brazil, and now here in Florida. Along the way, I’ve even had the chance to cook alongside culinary icons like Anthony Bourdain, Andrew Zimmern, Thomas Keller, Martin Yan, and Suvir Saran.
I’ve contributed recipes to the Cooking with Mother Goose series and today I run Cooking with Rachael in St. Petersburg, where I offer private cooking classes and team-building events. My goal is simple: to demystify cooking and help people of all ages feel confident, creative, and connected in the kitchen.
And when I’m not teaching, you’ll often find me skating with Sunshine City Roller Derby as Betty Crack-Her — bringing the same energy, grit, and fun to the track as I do to the table.
